Our Wall Tapestry Workshop will start off our streak of fun from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on April 10. Carlee Stier and Erica Schuster will teach you how to make a beautiful statement piece that fits your own style and you can customize it to your own liking. Whether you’re creating it for a baby nursery, a gift, or even for your own home, they will show you tricks to make your piece as unique as you! Included in the event are treats, drinks, and a 15% discount when you shop Hitch Studio that evening! Bring your gals and get creative.
We’ll have all kinds and colors of string and yarn, so your possibilities of making a boho-inspired or classic wall hanging are endless! Cost of the event is $30/person.

Bring your little Jackrabbits into Hitch Studio on April 14 from 10-5 p.m. to craft a birthday card for other children in need. Birthdays are a special day for children, however it can be difficult for families who do not have the resources to celebrate. The Helpline Center puts together “Birthday in a Bag” gift bags for children who wouldn’t otherwise receive a gift for their birthday. Our mission is to provide a hand-made birthday card from one child to another to include in these birthday bags. We invite you to make a card, even if you’re a kid at heart. All ages of Jackrabbits welcome to help #JacksGiveBack on April 14 to help spread the stationery love at Hitch Studio. (We’ll have all the markers, stickers, glitter tape, and supplies ready for crafting!)
Jacks Give Back is one day designed for Jackrabbits nationwide to give back to their local communities. On Saturday, April 14th, alumni from South Dakota State University will band together to make a difference.

Our workshop series continues with a “Create Your Own Fairy Garden or Succulent Garden Workshop” on April 17, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. It’s a proven fact (don’t challenge us on this, though) that a miniature version of anything is automatically 10 times cuter than its full-sized counterpart. Join us at Medary Acres on April 17 to create your own succulent garden or bring the kids to make an enchanting fairy garden! It’ll give you some green thumb practice before summer planting arrives, and the chance to lure fairies (and good luck) into your home!
Cost of the event is $35/person and includes a hand-potted garden of your choice, a cupcake at Hitch Studio, a free fairy garden gift AND 15% off our entire store after the event! Medary acres is offering a huge selection of plants to use in the containers. You can also pick different decorative items to add such as fairy garden statues, rocks, moss, etc. During the class, we will help you choose the plants and talk about caring for them. After the class we will take a tour of the greenhouse and answer questions about bedding plants and perennials for the summer. Bring a pair of gloves (or buy a pair on-site).

Wanderlust is a 2-day boutique shopping event spanning from Minnesota to South Dakota and includes discounts at each store you visit!
