Hitch Design Studio: Do What You Love, Love What You Do

If you pick up the November issue of 605 Magazine, you’ll find these two entrepreneurs smiling back at you. 605 interviewed us on why we started a business in Brookings and how business is going. Read the full article here!

We also answered five tough Midwest wedding etiquette questions for Dainty Obsessions Magazine recently, so watch for our answers in their next issue!

Hitch was also featured in the Brookings Register for our grand opening:

Although we’re proud to be featured in all these places, we’re even prouder to be spreading the entrepreneurial spirit to classrooms across SDSU, to be involved with volunteer boards and organizations, and to be giving back to the Brookings community. We think that’s what part of being a business owner is all about.

We are members of the Brookings Chamber and Downtown Brookings, Inc., we gave out candy to the CUTEST kids in Brookings as part of the Downtown Halloween night (while rockin’ our 80’s gear), we will be open for the Downtown Festival of Lights in December so kids can write and mail letters to Santa, we both have close ties to SDSU, we donate our time and talents, we are members of MasterMinds business owner groups, we support 1 Million Cups and Brookings being the Creative Capital, and we love supporting and doing business with other local businesses. We #ThinkLocal.

Here’s a recent Facebook post about our support of the Domestic Violence Network:

There’s more to running a successful business than the bottom line. We think, in a town like Brookings, SD, that fellowship, community support, and being good stewards of other small businesses is just as important. Thank you, Brookings for all you’ve done for us and Hitch! We’re so proud to be giving back.
