Is it okay to mash up two different wedding styles? YES, YES, and YES!!
We are so in love with the way Megan + Denver’s vision came together for their wedding back in August. Being an employee of Hitch sure added to the excitement of picking out decorations! Megan had been slowly gathering a list of all her favorite (and least favorite) decoration pieces at Hitch, so when the time came for the centerpiece showcase, she knew exactly what she wanted. The mens’ suit colors, the flowers, even the linens were already coming together in her mind.
The amount of time spent researching colors for the wedding party outfits was worth every minute! The way that these colors popped against the backdrop of the wedding venue and the outdoor setting was unmatched. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Not a single detail was missed between the decorations and the attire.
With the touches of boho + dried florals and the light and airy color pallet, there was no going wrong with this style. Schade’s tent was the perfect canvas for this picture-perfect wedding.
We asked Megan, “What is something you would recommend for others as they plan their wedding?”
Here is what she said:
“I will 100% advocate to get a videographer. You can see photos of the wedding day again, but when you see it in video, you truly get to feel it again. It brings back the exact emotions you felt at that moment, and I want to watch and feel it over and over again.”

Instead of a traditional guest book, Megan + Denver purchased custom playing cards with photos of their engagement on one side, and the other left blank for guests to sign! SO FUN! During future game nights, it will be so fun looking back at all the advice and love from the people they spent their day with.
OH, BARTENDER! Megan was actually an employee of Schade Vineyard where they were married! In honor of her late nights bartending weddings, it only made sense to get her behind the bar for a while at her own! She makes a mean Captain & Coke!
Megan + Denver are parents of a lovely little feline, Olive, and they had to incorporate her into their day somehow! Check out the subtle nod at their fur-baby!
As a wedding gift, and something they could enjoy the entire day, Megan + Denver gave each other a perfume/cologne that the other person loved. A favorite scent to follow you all day and even long after!
