Say Hello to Our Rental Manager: Amber Jensen

Now that we’re moved and settled, graduation season is wrapped up, and we’ve got a handle on wedding rentals, it’s time for you to get to know our go-to gal behind rentals!

With over 10 years of experience in the rental industry, I’m excited to bring my passion and expertise to the Hitch Studio team! Having worked with a wide variety of events over the years, I love helping old, current, and new clients bring their visions to life. I’m also looking forward to continuing to grow my balloon artistry skills to add even more creativity to our clients’ celebrations.

Born and raised in Brookings, I now live on an acreage just north of town with my family. My journey started at Party Depot in 2014, and while working there I earned my associate’s degree in Human Services. That education, paired with real-world experience, led me to discover my true passion—helping people find organization, joy, and ease during life’s most meaningful events.

Life at home is full and busy with three little ones under five, and no two days are ever quiet! My husband and I embrace the chaos and find peace in the small, in-between moments. When I do find spare time, you’ll usually find me playing piano, listening to music, or soaking up a bit of creativity at home.

Five Fun Facts:

  • I have three wonderful kiddos—my youngest was born on Christmas morning.
  • I’ve been playing piano for over 25 years and recently started teaching my oldest son.
  • I LOVE decorating for the holidays (any excuse to make things festive!).
  • My favorite local restaurant is Craft—especially their salmon.
  • Coffee isn’t optional… it’s essential.
