May brings many fresh beginnings including wedding season! Keturah & Matthew’s spring wedding was long awaited and celebrated with the perfect amount of charm. The recent April showers aided in bringing life and greens to Schade Vineyard, setting the scene for the outdoor ceremony. The white tent with the romantic string lights and greens throughout the ceiling created a perfect atmosphere for the evening of celebrating!
Romance in the Vineyard
The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor ceremony at the Vineyard! Our South Dakota wind was as present as ever, but thankfully it was unnoticed because of the beauty that ensued during the ceremony. Gorgeous floral arrangements from Alissa with Belle Mariee, surrounded the permanent wood pergola. A succulent tree atop a wine barrel for the unity ceremony. The brides mother was honored with a reserved seat in the front row. A flower toss as the couple was announced husband + wife completed the ceremony! Handmade from flowers the groom gave the bride over the past years – Is there anything more romantic?!
Decor inspired by nature
Pinks, blues, yellow, oranges, greens and more! Keturah had a beautiful vision for her wedding décor from the very beginning and it only continued to blossom! Wildflowers with plenty of color was the driving factor behind the design. White tent, white chairs, white linens with fresh flowers – it couldn’t be more elegant and whimsical. Bride & Groom sat at a sweetheart table, surrounded by their wedding party who sat in a u-shape on either side of them. A perfect way to incorporate intimate + inclusiveness. Guests sat intermixed on round and rectangle tables, allowing for a unique flow of the space and accommodate both small and larger groups per table. Greens hung from the ceiling along with string lights! Each table included fresh wildflower stems and candlelight. Gold charger plates, glass goblets and cloth napkins to upscale the settings!
Culinary Delights
Munchies for social hour, buffet for dinner, handmade cupcakes for dessert and late-night pizza. When it came to the food game, they did not mess around and ensured guests were fed. Customized snacks with “His + Her” favorites along with crowd pleasing choices! Taco ‘bout love! A perfect and customizable dinner – build your own tacos (including chips + queso!!). Bride + groom shared a private dinner together before dismissing and greeting every table! Delicious homemade (and beautiful!) desserts for guests to choose a favorite. If you can image, the cookie dough cupcake (including an entire cookie!) was a favorite.
Creating memories and capturing moments
The evening was full of celebrating with beautiful scenery. Guests were fed and socialized throughout the evening with plenty of festivities to prolong the night. Chris with Pinnacle Productions brought energy, lighting, and non-stop music throughout the entire day! Keturah & Matthew truly thought of everything and wanted to ensure guests had a great time. Guests signed a recipe card as their guest book; leaving marriage advice, date night ideas or well wishes for the couple, hand-grown succulents (the groom’s handiwork!) for personal wedding favors. Coloring sheets, bean bag boards and photo op for guests to enjoy all night long!
A vineyard wedding is more than just a ceremony; it’s a journey into the heart of romance, where love intertwines with nature in the most beautiful of ways. From the stunning scenery to the exquisite wines, every aspect of the day reflects the couple’s unique love story. So, raise a glass to the love and embark on a vineyard adventure that promises to be nothing short of magical. Cheers to love!
