You and your partner love golfing together, so what better location for your wedding than on your favorite local course?! It’s sunny, it’s green, there is plenty of parking, room for the kids to run around, and better yet – you can play a round of golf while your guests enjoy social hour! Who wouldn’t want their photo backdrop to be a luscious sea of green?
Brooke + Dakota has the most special day at their favorite place with their favorite people. They also had some very unique parts of their day being that it was on the course!
- They drove off in a golf cart after the ceremony, obviously!
- They had their first tee-off together with a custom golf ball and tee designed with their wedding date + hashtag!
- They gave their guests custom golf tees as wedding favors. Fun and practical!
These two were so thrilled to have had the opportunity to host their wedding in such a fun place and even more thrilled by the amazing turn out of their friends and family.
They rented their gorgeous white tent from Ideal Tent & Event Rentals in Tea, SD. Their whole team comes to set it up + take it down for you. It was the perfect size for the dinner and dance and had walls to keep the wind away throughout the day. Although, we can’t be too upset about wind. The breeze sure felt nice on that 97-degree afternoon. Through all of the sweat, there was just so much love to be felt on Brooke + Dakota’s day. The beers were cold, and the dance floor was full! The guests danced through the night with Malik from Complete Weddings + Events, who knew all the best songs to keep the crowd going.
They had such a bright and light color pallet, which was the perfect touch against the dark grass on the course. Brooke and her girls looked absolutely stunning in their light blue dresses. It was the perfect accent. Dakota and his guys looked so sharp in their grey suits alongside the girls. Check out their photos together!
The décor was also so complimentary to their whole style. They had custom blush napkins rented from Ideal Tent & Event Rentals that were perfect. They also had blush + blue cheesecloth runners on each table that added the perfect pop of color in their décor. Brooke got to choose each centerpiece for her wedding and we are so in love with what she chose. The combination of long rectangle tables and round tables up front for family allowed for tons of variety in her centerpieces. There were high and low centerpiece elements on each table – like the tall birch sticks mixed with shorter wood boxes was so perfect. The whole feeling was bright, airy, and light!
We were so honored to be part of Brooke + Dakota’s day. We have a huge soft spot for golf course weddings, and were so thrilled you allowed us to be part of yours – right on Hole 6!
