Eggplant + Lavender Décor to Compliment Your Wood Venue

Located on the outskirts of Sioux Falls, Riverview Barn is the perfect upscale, rustic barn venue for your low-key, simple, and nature-inspired wedding. Not to mention, Brian + Pam are the sweetest venue owners and will cover every detail with you during their planning process!

We want to share with you a few reasons why we absolutely love Riverview Barn:

The open space. A large, open floor plan is perfect for a group of around 200-300 people! Everyone feels included, and guests can see everything and everyone at all times!
The wood. We love when venues are able to bring the outdoors INSIDE! The wood, warm chandeliers, and natural feel are so perfect for setting the relaxing tone of the wedding festivities.
The grand staircase. We love decorating the railings on these stairs to add a variety of texture. This spot is perfect for photos and grand entrances! Just check out this before and after!
The large windows. I am sure all photographer who has shot at Riverview can agree that they are nailing the natural light with all of their large windows.

This summer’s wedding season started off right with the celebration of Ashley + Brian. They were so great to plan with, and Ashley’s mom was ready to rock out every task and detail for this wonderful couple. These two had the biggest support group. Their families were so organized, motivated, and grateful for everything. We all made the best team!

One thing we loved so much about Ashley + Brian’s wedding was the purple tones in their décor + florals! With a combination of all the wood inside of the barn, the purple hues really popped and added a dimension of color that was so unique. Check out these photos of the combo we loved so much!

This couple gave the Hitch team a special request of having a super private last dance at the end of the night. Around 11:30 p.m., Hitch asked the remaining guests to head outside for a special tunnel exit! While they guests were busy getting ready and hyped up for the couple, Brian and Ashley were creating a core memory together on the dance floor. I think even Jamal with DJ Sieff Style was tearing up! This is surely a trend we hope never goes away!
