A Winter Wedding to Melt Over

We were so honored to be part of Anna + Chad’s wedding in March! What a perfect celebration for such a beautiful family.

They said their vows at a local church that Friday afternoon, then made their way to The Atrium at Blue Haven for their intimate reception with their closest friends and family! They picked the PERFECT venue for their after-party. With a modern, white inside, this venue was the perfect place to show off their gorgeous navy + burgundy + gold color pallet that they chose.

This venue is perfect for any colors and wedding style because of the “clean slate” design. The walls and ceiling are beautiful by themselves but will make any color or wedding enhancements pop! This couple chose to go bold with their navy and burgundy colors which were immediately eye-catching to all who walked in!

Hitch got right to work on their centerpieces and mantle installation that morning while the bride and her girls got ready in the suite rooms on site. The best feeling in the world is being able to enjoy your wedding day while someone else handles all the decorating and set up for you. At one point, Anna even came out to see us because she “was so bored!” That is only problem we hope you have on your wedding day; being too bored and relaxed!

We were so excited to show her the progress on the mantle. Check out these before, during, and after photos!

The Atrium staff installed hooks on the top of the mantle so that decorators and florists can easily attached floral wire without damaging the venue walls or wood mantle itself. We used our artificial greenery along with floral wire as the base for the installation, then after the amazing florists at The Flower Mill in Sioux Falls dropped off the fresh floral stems, Hitch got to work snipping and tucking those flowers into the greenery. When we were finished, Anna said it exceeded her expectations, and it smelled almost as beautiful as it looked. What a great way to add that pop of color to the venue!

This mantle overlooked Anna + Chad and their 3 children sitting up front at the cutest sweetheart table. We were so excited to hear that Anna + Chad wanted to honor their children in their wedding by having them sit up front. Their bridal party and immediate family got to sit at other tables close by. It was just the best space for everyone to gather around this new family of 5.

We loved being part of the planning and day-of decorating for this wedding. Anna + Chad, we wish you all the best together!
