I have been working for Hitch Studio as an Associate Wedding Planner for over and year and have quickly fallen in love with the high energy days, flowing creativity, and passion and love for every couple we work with.  I knew I wanted to continue to help couples and families make those unforgettable memories. Each wedding and couple are uniquely its own, which makes every day a new adventure and I love it!

Originally, I grew up on a farm in Southeastern South Dakota. I made the move to Brookings to pursue a bachelor’s degree from SDSU majoring in Animal and Agriculture Science. Though I have had a unique career jump I think the values I have learned growing and working in agriculture like compassion, dedication, attention to details, and celebrating the little things in life shine bright while I work with couples on their special day.

In my free time I love to take various workout classes and am constantly going on walks outside. I enjoy reading and have currently been trying to work on my sewing skills through little projects! I also love spending time with my family and friends and try to always find a good balance between spending time with others while also having quality time with myself!

1. I have traveled to both Vietnam and South Africa !
2. I am addicted to cinnamon gum, the Trident brand to be exact.
3. I am certified to Artificially Inseminate Beef Cattle.
4. My favorite holiday is Valentines Day!
5. I make a vision board every year and have a word of the year to go along with it. My word of the year this year is “Hello.”
