Sip, Shop and Give Back
Shopping is a hobby that has always brought joy to me. Whether it’s clothes for a new season, finding the perfect gift for a friend, or treating myself to that super cute item that I really want, but really don’t need … I’m always game for spending the money I’ve earned. That’s why we work right? In my opinion, the only thing that can make shopping better is adding wine, friends, and local businesses into the equation. Downtown businesses in Brookings agree with me and are hosting the 2017 Fall Crawl Sip & Shop on September 28th, from 4-8 p.m. So if you’re the type of person who likes to shop til’ you drop, this is an event you definitely won’t want to miss. Each participating business will offer great discounts, tasty snacks and wine to for you to enjoy while browsing for your favorite local finds. You’ll also receive a punch card to track your stops along the way. If you make it to all nine participating businesses, you’ll be entered into a grand prize drawing.

Downtown businesses are also using this event as an opportunity to give back to the Brookings community and ask for donations to the Domestic Abuse Shelter of Brookings. For every item you donate on September 28, you’ll get a chance to win a special door prize. Here’s a wish list of items they need most:
