Hi there, Hitch Studio blog readers! I am Taylor, the most recent retail associate at Hitch.
I am currently a junior at South Dakota State University where I am majoring in graphic design. I chose to peruse this major because I have always been intrigued by the world of art and what it has to offer, along with what you can do with it. I hope to make graphic design my passion in life.
I knew that I wanted to be a part of the Hitch Studio team as soon as I saw the company’s website! There were so many aspects that intrigued me and led me to want to know more about this company. I love the work that Carrie and Renee do, and I knew I wanted to be a part of the team to learn from them. I have a passion for graphic design, photography, retail, and weddings so this was the perfect fit for me! Renee and Carrie have a way of making their employees feel like they are an important part of the team and make us feel really comfortable while learning.
My dream, as a designer, is to work for a company that I can brand and advertise for. I believe that Hitch will be able to give me the edge that future employers will be looking for! I am excited to see where this position will take me and I look forward to a great experience here at Hitch Studio!
Hitch Studio now has two full time employees, Renee Halgerson and Carrie Kuhl (co-owners of Hitch), and four part-time employees (including Abbi, the other newest employee!) to help with the retail store, inventory, weddings, events and graphic design projects. Hitch also has a team of employees to set-up and tear-down weddings and events. Our team is like family and we value each and every one of them!
