Hitch got the privilege of decorating a wedding in October for a couple local to the Brookings-Volga area. Andrea + Brett chose Midway Camp, and wonderful white-barn venue located just outside of Volga for their reception. We love their accommodating staff! They allowed the family + Hitch to set up the venue the day before the wedding and were very helpful during the day of the wedding, helping prepare for the guests to arrive.
We loved meeting with these two and their families in preparation for their big day. They were always having a blast, joking around, making the most of their time together. I think we truly fell in love with this couple! They were so excited to get married and everyone around them could totally tell! One thing we admired most about these two is how much they also showed their appreciation for all of their wedding vendors. I heard so many thank-yous come from the couple and their families, and I just know that each vendor had their love-tank filled to the top. I know WE sure did! Andrea + Brett’s love and happiness were absolutely contagious this day.
One of Andrea + Brett’s requests was to incorporate sunflowers into their decorations. We were so excited to bring out our sunflower collection for them! They looked so beautiful with the pops of burgundy in this bright white venue. It turned out to be the perfect canvas for their wedding style. They definitely brought the outdoors in with their wood slabs and wheat sprigs tied into each table piece! Their styled was so cohesive and well balanced between those deep wood, eucalyptus, and burgundy tones and the bright gold and white throughout the whole barn. We hope to work with style again in the future!
