I loved this couple!
I loved the parents. I loved their families. And I certainly loved the bride’s sister who got married last summer! (Hitch was priveleged to decorate her wedding too!) I remember standing just outside the reception hall when Stephanie (then a maid of honor at her sister’s wedding), told me that she would be next. She was going to marry Brett and Hitch would decorate her wedding as well. It came true! I hope all her dreams come true, honestly.
Stephanie and Brett had a beautiful wedding ceremony at a small town church and had their reception at the Holiday Inn in Brandon, SD. They chose turquoise (teal), watermelon (bright coral pink), and bling (tons of sparkle) as their colors. There was a whole lotta sparkle and amazing details. Some of the best details the happy couple chose were the beautiful huge bouquets at their head table, the layout of the head table, the monogram on their wall, the three-tiered cake, the spray of lights over the head table, their pink programs, and their candy table!
Let’s talk about this head table some more. 🙂 One of the best parts of it was that it was in the center of the room instead of against a wall. It had a “king’s table” layout and included more than just the wedding party. Each member of the wedding party got to bring their family to sit with them at the head table also! There were 20 seats filled, including high chairs for kids. Over the head table, Hitch hung bistro lights starting at one point, and had them spray outward over the head table toward the dance floor! It was the highlight of the entire room. Hitch also put four tall crystal sparked vases down the middle of the table as statement pieces and placed the bridesmaids’ bouquets to act as centerpieces around the room! What a great way to use her fresh flowers again! The bride’s gorgeous bouquet was at the head table, however.
Hitch used teal table runners, crystal vases, real flower arrangements from Flower Mill, and bright silver accents for their centerpieces. They turned out so beautifully! Sieff Style was their DJ (awesome!) and the Cake Lady designed their cake. The entire day was beautiful.
Stephanie and Brett also decorated the church so nicely. Hitch picked up their huge floral pillar displays from Flower Mill and moved them to the reception, so even those got double use! A three-generation unity candle was lit at the ceremony (and verrrry carefully packed up again). Everything about their wedding, from the decorations to the candy, and even the late night pizza order was so THEM.
We even took meals up to each room (the couple, the parents and the maid of honor) so they had something to eat after their late night dancing! We moved their gifts from the reception and locked them in the parents’ room. Hitch will do just about anything to make sure your wedding day is perfect. 🙂
Enjoy some of these gorgeous details.
