When a Navy Sparkle Wedding Meets Tractors and Rustic

When I first sat down with Mike and Amanda to ask questions about them and their wedding, Mike had two requirements: he wanted Jack Daniels and his tractors to be at the wedding. Amanda wanted some navy sparkle and lots of candles in lanterns.

When you mix the look of sparkly navy with woodsy and rustic, you get a look something like THIS! It turned out beautifully. And the families we worked with were so down-to-earth and amazing!

They decided to get married at the Christian Reformed Church and have their reception at Buffalo Wollow Lodge (the old Midway State Camp), both in Volga, SD. It was the perfect venue for their country wedding. We rented tables and chairs from Rental Depot in Brookings and we rented the linens from Party Depot. We chose all white to really brighten up the space. Hitch Studio decorated their tables and helped the entire wedding day run smoothly.

As a 3 Carat bride and groom, we contacted each vendor ahead of time, answered any questions, prevented them from getting lost on the way to the venue (wink, wink), and made a complete timeline for their day, took Pinterest-worthy photos of their decor and set up, coordinated the rentals, set up and returns, set out the cupcakes, helped the timing of the evening go smoothly, we brought the girls and guys donuts, muffins, fruit, and sandwiches for brunch, and took down all the decor and head table backdrop at the end of the evening. We were ALL IN for these vows!

Their wedding day was relaxed, rustic and perfect if you ask me. Hitch Studio was thrilled to be back doing wedding planning again.
