Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) • Certified Wedding Venue Professional (CWVP)

I have been with Hitch Studio for three years as a wedding associate, and now Certified Wedding Planner. I get to assist couples in the creation of their dream weddings! After transitioning from an internship with the City of Brookings, canvasing a wide array of events and working for such a diverse community, I knew that planning gatherings and working with a team would be a path I’d love to continue.

Originally from Sioux Falls, I came to Brookings to pursue a Bachelor’s degree from SDSU. Of course, the event classes were my favorite part! I am very detail oriented, organized and hard working. Give me any task and I will get it done, sometimes faster than people expect. I love getting to build relationships with the couple and their family as well. Building these connections gives me the opportunity to fully understand their passions and personality. I am so excited to design and coordinate the wedding of their dreams down to every detail.

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities with my Fiance, Alex. Our preferred adventures include kayaking, hiking, or my personal favorite, playing tennis. We are both quite busy, so in that small amount of time that we are together we enjoy being as active as we can be! I am also currently planning my own wedding and experiencing all of the fun activities that come along with it. I am so excited to start planning with you!

Five Fun Facts:

• You will always find me at Scooter’s. I have a major addiction to their coffee, thanks to my fiance who worked there in high school.
• Like Natalie, I have been a dancer almost my whole life. I have performed in my studio's version of the Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
• In high school, I worked for the Great Plains Zoo. I loved getting to see the animals whenever I wanted. Tip: They are always more active in the morning as it is cooler.
• I am an only child and also only have 4 cousins. Growing up, this meant that I spent all my time with them, but we are so close now because of it!
• I love plants! My house is starting to turn into a jungle.
