Location: The Swiftel Center is located just off Interstate 29 at 824 32nd Ave, Brookings, SD 57006.
Capacity: The Swiftel Center is able to accommodate a guest list from 50 – 2500 because of the flexible and customizable room configuration options in the Swiftel Center facility. The largest event hall in Swiftel Center is the Arena and holds 2500 guests. It’s a very large space, but with a skilled wedding stylist, you can make the Arena feel warm and cozy too! The most popular space is called ‘Daktronics A&B’ and measures over 6,000 square feet. How large is that? Well, you can comfortably seat 325 of your closest family and friends at your wedding! The next largest is the newly remodeled ‘Daktronics C&D’ room and measures over 5,000 square feet — which means it comfortably seats 200 people. Trust us when we say comfortably. Nobody wants to sit elbow-to-elbow with the table next to them and not be able to pull out their chair. We’ve also seen Daktronics C&D used for ceremonies because it’s long and narrow — perfect for a wedding day aisle. Then, guests easily transition over to the Daktronics A&B during social hour and for the meal! It works out perfectly.

Parking: Looking for parking for all these people you’re about to invite? Swiftel holds HUGE conferences and concerts, so their parking is the BEST in town when it comes to wedding venues. (Random side note — the Swiftel Center has hosted 13 CMA performers!) Not to worry about parking spots.
Amenities: The space layouts are also very customizable and can accommodate ideas like a King’s table, backdrops, ceiling draping, bistro lighting, and custom up-lighting coordinated to your exact wedding colors. Need a sturdy, beautiful, and moveable dance floor? Swiftel Center can provide that as well! To add to your perfect day, the Swiftel Center staff will set-up and tear down your custom space layout, dance floor, and equipment! Each room can be independently set for sound production, projection presentations, internet access, and phone lines.
Catering: Let the top-notch, in-house caterer, make your special event even more unforgettable with a meal that is nothing short of amazing! Select from a customizable menu crafted by an award-winning executive chef with an added bonus of a complimentary menu tasting appointment. (Sorry, you cannot bring in your own catering or food except for wedding cake, wedding desserts, and munchies for social hour, etc.)
Alcohol Policy: Also conveniently located in-house is a full-service bar including beer, wine, and liquor.
Flexibility on Setup/Take Down Times: Add these items to the list of venue-provided amenities for a hassle-free day! You will have access to the facility from 8:00 AM until 2:00 AM for a full day of activities. Cleanup….not to worry…cleaning during and after your event is included! Trained security personnel provide safety for all family and guests.
Cost: Please inquire with Hitch Studio or Swiftel about cost of renting the rooms and rentals below. (I’ll let you in on a little secret…they aren’t the most expensive in town, but they also aren’t the cheapest. It’s a very reasonably priced wedding venue!)
Rentals Included: What’s more exciting than incorporating your favorite colors into the wedding you have always dreamed about or event that you are in charge of planning? Table linens, skirting, and napkins come in a variety of colors and folding options. If you have special, vintage, or custom linens, you can bring them in and they can be incorporated into the décor to make your day more memorable. Banquet chairs may be covered and/or sashed using your special selection of colors as well.
Rentals included: Round and rectangle tables, banquet chairs, head table, staging/risers, dance floor, linens, skirting, napkins, tables for gifts, guest book, wedding cake and punch, setting up the room, cleaning the room, a wedding staff member, and a security staff member are all included.
