One of the best ways to make your wedding invitation stand out is by adding embellishments, or add-ons, to your stationery set. In the photo above, you’ll see this bride chose to add:
- A lace envelope liner
- Twine tied around her invitation
- A kraft-paper backing card
- Printed the return address on her envelopes
She also printed matching Thursday night activity cards, Friday night rehearsal dinner invites, and dance-only postcards that all match on textured Feltweave paper!
Other embellishment add-ons include:
- Maps
- Crystals
- Ribbon/bows
- Buttons
- Printed tags
- Paper bands
- Pearl, silver, or crystal brads
- And more!
Hitch Design Studio loves to make your invitations unique! Take a look at the unique black and white foil invitation on black matte paper, which makes these invitations so modern! And even better, Russell & Katie’s wedding colors are neutral colors (beige, latte, cappucino, cream, etc.) and black. The only thing I love more than designing these wedding invitations is the couple I designed them for. (Love you, Russell & Katie! {my little brother and his wife}) I couldn’t be more excited that you’re married! xoxo
Their invitation also had a crystal brad that kept all the cards connected in the upper left corner. The back page of the invitation had a perforated RSVP card, so that guests could just rip off and send in their reply and it’s still connected to the invitation! Another invitation below had a ribbon tied around her invite so that the RSVP could tuck inside her invitation. She also glued nine crystals to the inside! Here are other add-ons from our favorite invitations:
