Blush Pink, Bright Pink, Teal and All the Decorations of this Brookings Wedding!

There are some weddings that are just plain amazing. This is one of them. Sydney & Ben thought of everything for their big day, but never lost sight of the real meaning of their wedding: the marriage. It was also the kind of wedding ceremony that brought a tear to my eye. Sydney lost her father to cancer years ago, so her mom walked her down the aisle. How special!

Speaking of the ceremony and aisle, Sydney’s mom ordered a custom aisle runner which had Sydney and Ben’s name on it and their wedding date. Not only that, but she hand-made ombre rose petal runners to go beside the custom runner. We added flowers, candles, and lanterns down her aisle for a beautiful ceremony look.

As guests arrived at the reception, one look inside the room, and you knew that this family had every detail covered. From the name place cards to the generations of love table, from the chair ruffle sashes to the hand made garlands and hung bistro lights — Sydney, Ben, and her mom poured every ounce of love into this wedding!

Photos of Sydney and her dad were featured when guests first arrived. Then, everybody got to sign a full photo canvas as a guestbook and got to see 15 generations of love from old photos they had collected from family members. Also included were amazing rose gold frames with Bible verses etched on them. Welcome to a day full of love!

We added rose gold sequin runners and full linens to her cocktail tables, cake table, gift and guestbook table, and more. Their cake table was full of THE most beautiful cupcakes.

Each table at the reception had some custom details. Some had photos of Sydney and Ben, some had the custom hashtag #thehappychappys frame, and some had tall turquoise vases to match the decor. Look at her DIY flower boxes that matched her blush pink, turquoise, and bright pink color scheme! I’m telling you. They thought of everything!
The chairs had pink ruffle sashes that Sydney’s mom perfected. And the highlight of the room was the head table. Set in a kings-table fashion, it ran through the middle of the room and at the head of the table was a settee for Sydney and Ben. Directly above them, were handmade garlands and a lit sign that said CHAPMAN. Uh…we were in love.
The room was so full of love for this couple, that you could feel it. It was such a fun wedding and such a pleasure to work with both of them! Ben and Sydney are the sweetest couple and I wish them so many blessings on their future together!
