Sarah & Owen were married over Labor Day weekend, September 5th. They planned a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony and reception, but it was their beautiful love for each other and the happiness of their friends and family that made the day charming and unforgettable.
Sarah & Owen were married at a family friend’s acreage just outside of Brookings, SD. It was a stunning ceremony, full of intimate beautiful moments between the bride and groom – shared with their family and friends.
The reception was held in Brookings at Bethel Baptist Church. Hitch decorated the large open space with a variety of fresh citrus-colored elements with pops of coral, mint, white and burlap. The head table featured a backdrop of soft dripping lights, creating a soft warm touch to the space.
For dessert, there were a variety of gorgeous homemade cupcakes — and we couldn’t get enough of their candy bar which was full of chocolate, candy canes, gummy bears, and much more!
Hitch also designed their wedding invitations, programs, advice cards for the bride and groom and table tents, so all the printed pieces coordinated with her sunshine yellow and floral wedding theme. It was really beautiful to see all the pops of yellow and brightness throughout the day.
Sarah even commented about Hitch after her wedding. Awww. Makes us blush.
“Renee and her team at HITCH are amazing. First off Renee met with me multiple times giving me help with vendors and venues even before I signed a contract with her. Communication was great and she always kept me up to date, letting me know what I needed to do and when she had things done. My invitations were perfect! She worked with me until we got exactly what I wanted. They did a great job decorating at the ceremony and reception; they made a gym look beautiful. The girls working on my wedding day were so professional, they had everything done when it needed to be and they kept up with everything on the floor. Even my caterer thought they were the best he has worked with before.”
