As experienced wedding planners in South Dakota, our team at Hitch Studio is fortunate to know so many wonderful wedding venues across the state. The Atrium in Sioux Falls is one of our favorites — it’s a new, modern, gorgeous wedding and event venue that opened in July 2020.
The space is big, bright, and beautiful with a neutral palette of black, white, and mixed metals (copper, gold, and silver) to coordinate with any wedding hosted there. It really is one of the most BEAUTIFUL venues in all of Sioux Falls. This location will set the stage for the amazing wedding you’ve been planning. Your guests will talk about your wedding for years because The Atrium at Blue Haven — and the special touches you add to your day — will be that memorable.
Capacity at The Atrium in Sioux Falls
The Atrium allows seating for 500 guests. That’s right. Five hundred!
The venue also has a parking lot to allow room for all guests to park.
How close in proximity is Blue Haven Barn from The Atrium?
They share a driveway! As that path splits, it leads you to two separate, but charming venues.
Catering at The Atrium
The Atrium offers a variety of menu options that come with a full-service catering staff. Click the link to see the options. Along with catering (from Chef Tyler), the venue has a full liquor license and a four-sided bar with trained bartenders. Cloth napkins, dishware, flatware, stemware, and bussing of tables are all included offerings.
The House Bar includes a four-sided bar with liquor, wine, and beer. You may select your choice of a signature cocktail and keg beer.
Open Bar Options: The Atrium offers different open bar packages, or you can have a cash bar!
What’s Included at The Atrium
Included with your rental of The Atrium in Sioux Falls:
- 16 hours of venue use on your wedding day from 8 am to midnight.
- Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den for the perfect getting-ready atmosphere. (Mimosas, anyone?!)
- An advanced sound system that includes microphones and a projector.
- A venue manager that will be available to you all day.
- Tables, chairs, and linens. (And when we say chairs, we mean black chiavari chairs)!
- Beautiful patio and yard area for fun and conversation.
- Rounded, terrace seating for an outdoor ceremony, which includes a huge white arbor. No need to rent ceremony chairs (such a cost savings!) unless you want someone within 50 feet of you, like parents and grandparents.
Set up/Takedown
Along with your rental of the Atrium venue, it includes set up, arrangement, and take down of all tables, chairs, and linens. (Have we mentioned the wrinkle-free, floor-length linens and black chiavari chairs yet?) 😉
Vendors
The Atrium offers a list of trusted and reliable vendors such as entertainment, floral, hair and makeup, photography, and much more. You are able to choose all of your vendors except for food and desserts, as the in-house, Chef Tyler, creates a menu to fit your desired budget. Real Wedding: Mary Jo + Kevin’s Wedding at The Atrium
Hitch Studio had the honor of being the wedding planner and wedding stylist for Mary Jo and Kevin’s wedding at The Atrium! Their day was full of love, family, an amazing sunset…and Charlie — their puppy. We LOVED the details they had at their wedding, like custom-made wine glasses and rented dark gray napkins. We rented them a dusty blue settee from Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals since dusty blue, eggplant, gray, and dusty purple were their wedding colors. Plus, accent pieces make great photo props!
