Midwest Wedding Trends (#12 in a Series): Which Color Palettes are “In” for 2020

We love new wedding color palettes! What’s “in” for 2020? Well, let’s see what real life brides are choosing. We’ve styled a LOT of centerpiece showcases in the past few months for upcoming 2020 weddings. I’m also a part of wedding stationery Facebook group…and according to them, THIS is what’s “in” for wedding invitations for 2020:

  • Terra-cotta color
  • Letterpress, block fonts
  • Shades of grey
  • Simplicity with hints of earth tones (without the rustic and vintage undertones)
  • Off white colors (simple and elegant)

What else is trending for 2020? Take a look at these predictions from Wedinspire, which includes flowers, dresses, big statement pieces at your reception and more. This Brides article says keep beautiful tablescapes and bold colors, and ditch the flower walls, pastels, and velvet. And what about the TheKnot? They’re predicting earthy-tones and environment-friendly details. Now for those centerpiece colors and wedding colors that are trending for next year. First of all, Classic Blue is the Pantone Color of the Year, so we’ll be seeing a little of that for sure! What else are we predicting we’ll see in 2020? Take a look!
